Kino Lorber’s Horizon Movies label has picked up North American rights to horror-thriller Jacob.

Larry Wade Carrell’s film tells of a disturbed loner who sets out to avenge the murdered of his beloved sister.

Jacob earned a considerable festival following and won best picture at the WorldFest Houston International Film Festival among other awards.

Kino Lorber vp of home entertainment sales and distribution Eric D Wilkinson negotiated the deal with producer Larry Wade Carrell.

Jacob will launch on DVD, VoD and digital platforms on Apr 16.
