Jeffrey Engelen has joined production, finance and sales company Myriad Pictures as senior vice-president of distribution.
Engelen will be responsible for heading up Myriad’s new television division for both the US and international markets and will also expand the company’s VOD and new media activities.
He will report to Myriad president and CEO Kirk D’Amico, who called Engelen “an accomplished executive with an excellent track record.” D’Amico added, “With the expanding distribution outlets and our own growing library, Myriad was in need of a dedicated executive to exploit the traditional and new sales opportunities for each title.”
Prior to joining Myriad, Engelen served as senior vice-president of worldwide sales at PorchLight Entertainment, and before that he was international sales and licensing director for Telescreen Distribution And Licensing in the Netherlands.
