Television and home entertainment distributor Osiris Entertainment is to make its first foray into theatrical.
“The inauguration of a dedicated theatrical division has been long in the works,” said CEO Evan Crooke. “As our library expanded exponentially over the years, with our films meeting success both in the US and internationally, we knew it was time to take the next step and open our catalogue to theatres worldwide.’
The Osiris library currently numbers around 400 titles from all genres.
Tom Tykwer’s German thriller was a breakout for the director and his star star Franka Potente.
Total LA-based production shoot days were down 8.7% in Q1.
“Our real value add now is in terms of international sales,” revealed Oli Harbottle of Dogwoof.
