UPDATE: The arachnid has grossed $104m through Sony Pictures Releasing International and is poised to deliver a sophomore thump in more than 60 new territories day-and-date with North America this weekend.

The Amazing Spider-Man has spun more than $175m in worldwide ticket sales through Sony factoring in an estimated $75m from the first three days in North America.

The superhero reboot debuts in approximately 63 territories this weekend including the UK, Australia, Russia, France, Mexico, Mexico, Brazil and Spain.

DreamWorks Animation’s Madagascar 3 stands at $250.2m through Paramount Pictures International.

The pop star documentary Katy Perry: Part Of Me arrives in four new territories including the UK and Australia, while Sacha Baron Cohen comedy vehicle The Dictator on $91.1m marches into South Africa.

Universal’s fantasy adventure Snow White And The Huntsman has reached $197.1m mostly through Universal Pictures International (the film has grossed $16.7m in Japan through Toho-Towa), while American Pie: Reunion stands at $176.6m.

Blue Sky Studios’ Ice Age: Continental Drift has raced to $118.7m through Fox International and opens in around 14 territories including Germany, Austria and Holland.

Action release Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter has grossed $20.4m and launches in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan.

Hindi-language Bollywood comedy Bol Bachchan arrives in India, the UK and Australia and select Middle Eastern territories. Sleeper hit Best Exotic Marigold Hotel has grossed $85m.
