The new vp of theatrical acquisitions most recently served at Millennium Entertainment where he led negotiations in acquiring such films as Richard Linklater’s Bernie, Oren Moverman’s Rampart and Elgin James’s Little Birds.

At Cinedigm Entertainment Group Scordino will report to co-president Susan Margolin.

The company also announced internal promotions for Emily Rothschild as director of acquisitions and Kristin Harris as director of theatrical acquisitions.

Prior to Millennium Scordino was an executive at Apparition and was involved in the acquisition of Jean-Marc Vallée’s The Young Victoria and Nash Edgerton’s The Square. 

He began his career in acquisitions at Picturehouse after working as an agent at Sandra Marsh Management.
