The marketing and publicity veteran will assume her new role of svp of film marketing and reports to evp of documentary films Diane Weyerman and evp of narrative films Jonathan King.

Kim will oversee marketing strategy, partnerships, and campaign development for Participant’s films and acquisitions and serve as the key marketing executive for all distributors, promotional partners, filmmakers, talent and studios. 

“Laura is respected throughout the film world for her expertise, intelligence and creativity managing campaigns for a wide range of films,” said King. “We are thrilled to have her on board as Participant expands into new markets, and expands our slate of films.”

Prior to Participant, Kim was principal and founder at marketing and PR films Inside Job. Her previous appointments include evp of marketing at the now defunct Warner Independent Pictures.
