Alcon Entertainment, Alloy Entertainment and Kira Davis’ 8:38 Productions have acquired screen rights to The Here And Now.
The property stems from Ann Brashares’ epic romantic thriller and marks a reunion for the production companies after they collaborated on the author’s The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants novels.
Davis of 8:38 Productions will produce with Alcon co-CEOs Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson, Alloy Entertainment president Les Morgenstein and Alloy Features vice-president Elysa Dutton.
The Here And Now was published on April 8 and centres on a girl from the future who may be the savior of thne planet.
