Highland Film Group will introduce the Atlas Independent project to buyers at the EFM next week.

Kevin Connolly will direct from Bert V Royal’s screenplay about roommates and has-been TV stars who compete for a juicy film role.

Atlas Entertainment’s Alex Gartner, William Green and Aaron Ginsburg of Atlas Independent produce.

Production is set to begin in Los Angeles in the second quarter. The project is inspired by the Japanese film 2LDK.

Highland is also handling sales on Atlas Independent’s Sanctuary.
