Denis Villeneuve is scheduled to commence principal photography in early 2013 as Alcon co-founders and co-CEOs Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson target an autumn release through the Warner Bros output deal.

As previously announced, Jake Gyllenhaal, Hugh Jackman and Melissa Leo are on board the story about a carpenter whose young daughter and her best friend are kidnapped. Aaron Guzikowski wrote the screenplay.

Kosove and Johnson are producing Prisoners with 8:38 Productions’ Kira Davis and Madhouse Entertainment’s Adam Kolbrenner. Ed McDonnell and John Stark will serve as executive producers.

Production is scheduled to begin in early 2013.  Alcon is targeting a Fall 2013 release through its output deal with Warner Bros.

Dano is represented by WME and recently wrapped Steve McQueen’s Twelve Years A Slave. He stars in current release Looper.
