The BIFA-nominated UK drama premiered in Tribeca.

IFC has taken US rights to Ashley Horner’s Tribeca premiere brilliantlove, which was nominated today for a BIFA.

IFC plans a Nov 3 release date under its new IFC Midnight label, which includes a limited theatrical release and video on demand offering.

Andrew Herwitz at The Film Sales Company negotiated the deal with Jeff Deutchman at IFC.

In the US, the film will be released under the alternate title The Orgasm Diaries.

Meanwhile, Soda Pictures is releasing on Nov 12 in the UK as part of its New British Cinema Quarterly.

Horner directed from Sean Conway’s script. The story is about two young lovers who live on the fringes of society. Their idyll is interrupted when his intimate pictures of her get into the hands of a slick art dealer.

Liam Brown, Nancy Trotter Landry and  Michael Hodgson star.
