Edward Noeltner's Cinema Management Group (CMG) has acquired international rights to Carolyn Miller's noir Under Still Waters and will commence pre-sales in Cannes next month.

The film will receive its market premiere on the Croisette on May 15. It stars Lake Bell, who appears with Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher in the upcoming romantic comedy What Happens In Vegas.

Under Still Waters follows a young heiress and her husband who take a fateful trip to a lakeside mansion in a desperate bid to save their marriage. Jason Clarke and Clifton Collins Jr also star.

Perfect Weekend's Charlie Mason and Justin Moore-Lewy produced. Chris Cooney and Peter Wetherell served as executive producers. Noor Ahmed of Reder & Feig is handling domestic rights.

'The film's director, Carolyn Miller, is a recent USC Film School grad and she shows an assured hand with this her first feature,' Noeltner said.

CMG's Cannes slate includes Dave Payne's new horror thriller No Man's Land: The Rise Of Reeker and Julian Doyle's Chemical Wedding.
