Ocean's Twelve grossed an estimated $4.5m in its firstinternational outing in five territories on 563 screens through Warner BrosPictures International at the weekend

The highlightwas Australia, where the crime caper opened top on an excellent $3.5m and 46%market share.

It grossed$388,000 on 79 in Thailand, $220,700 on 24 in India, and $132,000 on 30 inMalaysia, where the 2001 original did not open.

Next weekend Ocean'sTwelve goes out inFrance, Germany, Italy and Spain, among others.

The PolarExpress added $16.4mfrom 5,916 prints in 45 countries to raise its international running total to$47.1m.

Highlights were$4.4m on 449 in the UK including previews to rank second behind BVI's TheIncredibles, and firstplace in Taiwan on $561,124.

France added $1.7m for $3.7m after two weekends,Italy added $1.2m for $4m and Spain added $891,000 for $3.8m after the sameamount of time.

Germany added$1.1m for $5.8m after three weekends, while after the same amount of timeMexico raised its total by $855,000 for an unconfirmed total and Japan added$820,176 for $5.7m. Australia has amassed $3.7m after four weekends.
