In the UK, there is still an engrained resistance to hiring female directors and HoDs to lead on tent pole and popular screen dramas. A cultural change needs to be revolutionized; Writers, Directors, DoPs, Designers, Editors, Show runners and Producers are still predominately straight white men with more limbs than they use from middle-upper class backgrounds.

Jenkins splendid success leading Super Woman, we can only hope will inspire and shift the power of the gods back down to mother earth!
