Very sad to hear the passing of an icon, especially one you rub shoulders with. The legacy of Pam and Andi is not just a glorious past though, we must all strive as best we can for the cinema we love, that shapes our life and will shape the lives of others. Even if there's more emphasis on immediate returns and profit than ever before. There are also more options than before. They took real risks at the time without any fallback in home ent or VOD and with virtually no public funding. Let's not forget this. It was difficult then too. But they did it... And that, for me, is the legacy.
