TLA Releasing has acquired worldwide rights here from journalist and
first-time film-maker David Lewis to his drama Rock Haven.

The story follows a spiritual man who moves to the coast to live with
his devoutly Christian mother and falls in love with an older man.
Newcomer Sean Hoagland stars with Laura Jane Coles and Owen Alabado.

'With America more politically polarised than ever, I wanted to tell a
story about a young gay man who finds solace not by abandoning his
religious beliefs, but by finding a higher spiritual ground in which
to practice his beliefs,' Lewis said.

Rock Haven will play the festival circuit before rolling out on home
video at the end of the year.

TLA Releasing partner and director of acquisitions Richard A Wolff
negotiated the deal with Lewis.
