Fox Searchlight has teamed up with Paramount Pictures and MTVFilms on the release of Jared Hess' comedy Napoleon Dynamite.

The picture will open domestically through Fox Searchlight inselect cities on Jun 11, while Paramount and MTV Films will handle internationaldistribution.

Fox Searchlight picked up worldwide rights to the picture atSundance, where the story of an eccentric high school student received itspremiere and became a crowd favourite.

Hess and his wife Jerusha co-wrote the screenplay and NapoleonDynamite stars Jon Heder, Aaron Ruell, Jon Gries Tina Majorino and HaylieDuff.
