Colleen Seldin (pictured) is staying inthe Miramax fold as senior vice president of international distribution andoperations beyond the company's transitional period.

She will be based in NewYork and reports to Miramax president Daniel Battsek.

Seldin has been a member ofthe Miramax team for the past six years and will oversee all aspects ofinternational distribution including strategy, marketing and publicity.

Upcoming releases throughBuena Vista International (BVI) include Scary Movie 4, Breaking AndEntering, Kinky Boots, No Country For Old Men, and There Will Be Blood.

Seldin will continue workingwith and managing the company's ongoing relationship with Buena VistaInternational as well as the independent distributors who hold rights to someof the films in the library. Shewill also liaise with Miramax's production and acquisitions groups on potentialprojects for international.

Seldin started with Miramaxin 1999 as Manager of International Finance and Operations and in her tenurehas worked on the international releases for films including Chicago, SinCity, Kill Bill: Vols 1 and 2 and the Scary Movie trilogy. Prior to that, she worked at New LineCinema and at Sony Music International.

"I have worked withColleen for many years and I know first hand that her knowledge of theinternational marketplace and her excellent foreign relationships are second tonone," Miramax president Daniel Battsek said.
