Warner Bros India teams with Wide Frame on Guest

Warner Bros Pictures India has unveiled a new Hindi film production, Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? (Guest, When Will You Leave?), in collaboration with Mumbai-based production outfit Wide Frame Films.

Directed by Ashwani Dheer and starring Ajay Devgan, Konkona Sen Sharma and Paresh Rawal, the film is being produced by first-timer Amita Pathak. It will be shot over 50 days at Yash Raj Studios and other locations in Mumbai, with release slated for February 26, 2010.

Denzil Dias, deputy managing director (theatrical), Warner Bros. Pictures India, said: “The film is a non-stop laugh riot. Add the comical talents of Devgan, Rawal and Sen Sharma and we have a winner at the box office.”

The film is Warner Bros’ first Hindi film since the highly-publicised Ramesh Sippy production, Chandni Chowk To China, which performed below expectations. The studio also previously produced Saas Bahu Aur Sensex and acquired SRK in 2008, which is yet to be released.
