Tunisian filmmaker Nouri Bouzid's Poupees D'Argile (Arais Al-Tein) picked up three prizes at this year's Innsbruck International Film Festival (June 18-22) which is dedicated to films from South America, Africa and Asia.

The international jury, including Austrian filmmaker Andrea Maria Dusl, Benin's Idrissou Mora Kpai, and Brazil's Paulo Roberto de Carvalho named the film the winner of the International Competition and the Land of Tirol's Euros 5,000 Film Prize. In addition, Bouzid received the Euros 1,000 Audience Award and the prize of Innsbruck's French Cultural Institute.

A special mention was made by the international jury of the Tadzhik director Djamshed Usmononov's story from his native village Angel On The Right (Farishtay Kifti Rost).
