Boband Harvey Weinstein have named Larry Madden executive vice president and chieffinancial officer of their tentatively titled The Weinstein Company.

The 20-year entertainment industry veteran arrives from digital servicescompany Loudeye Corp and starts work in New York today [12], reporting directlyto the brothers.

Madden's appointment is the latest piece to fall into place in the Weinstein'scorporate jigsaw ahead of their company's official launch on Oct 1.

As previously announced, Glen Basner is international president, RichardSaperstein is executive vice president of production as well as head ofproduction at Dimension Films, and Colin Vaines is executive vice president ofEuropean production and development.

In his new role, Madden will oversee company finances, accounting, reporting and information systems, and will also play a part in business development and work on new financial arrangements for specific projects.

He most recently served as president of Loudeye Corp, following a stint asexecutive vice president and chief financial officer.

Prior appointments include marketing consultants EMAK Worldwide, online musicdistributor Atomic Pop, as well as Def Jam Recordings and PolyGram International.
