Wind Dancer Films is lining up a US and Provence, France, shoot on the romantic fable Mistral with Wind Dancer partner Matt Williams attached to directed.

Josh Kesselman and Andrea Smith will produce with Wind Dancer Films based on a screenplay by Brett Hershey and Matt Tilker loosely inspired by a Tilker's chance meeting with a master perfumer in southern France.

The story centres on the power of scent to reignite memories and transform lives, and takes its name from the seasonal wind that according to the producers 'sweeps through Provence and leaves behind luminous blue skies.'

'I have been wanting to direct an adult love story for quite some time and Mistral is the perfect project,' Williams said. 'It is intelligent and highly romantic with a touch of magic and I'm sure the story will have universal appeal.'

Wind Dancer is currently developing the comedies Fear Less with writers Bear Aderhold and Tom Sullivan, Little Bastards with writer Erik Lindsay, Motel Galileo with Joe D'Ambrosio and Tom Teves, Hello, I Love You with Kim Beyer-Johnson, and thriller Crescendo with writer Andrew Klavan.
