Los Angeles-based production and distribution outfit York Entertainment has picked up two titles for home video distribution in the second quarter.

Lexie is scheduled for release on Apr 20 and centres on the intrigue that surrounds a music producer's efforts to get back in the game. It stars Cindy Herron Braggs, Ice T and Gary Busey and is directed by Fred Williamson.

Evicted, which is due out on May 4, follows the life of two slackers who stage a massive party on the eve of the removal from their apartment. It stars Michael and Terence Tierney and Shannon Elizabeth.

Established in 1990, the company acquires around 40 films a year for distribution and produces an additional 10 features in-house, including the upcoming Heidi Fleiss horror film Alien 51.
