RS Entertainment, RandySlaughter's Los Angeles-based distributor that released Luther in the US, has taken domestic theatrical rights toPav Films' debut feature Unspeakable, a psycho-thriller starring Dennis Hopper.

MGM has domestic televisionand DVD/home video rights while 20th Century Fox International Television willhandle foreign/worldwide pay TV rights and Artist View Entertainment ishandling all other foreign rights.

The R-rated picture won aGold Medal at the 2002 Houston International Film Festival and will receive itsworld premiere in LA today (27) at select AMC and Regal Cinemas.

The story centres on anemotionally disturbed psychiatrist played by Dina Meyer (Starship Troopers,Dragonheart) who tests out a cuttingedge "brain fingerprinting" technology on death row inmates.

When she discovers aninnocent man is about to be executed she tries to intervene to change his fateand is drawn towards the real killer (newcomer Paven Grover).

Hopper plays the unbalancedprison warden who presides over the growing mayhem and Unspeakable also stars Lance Henriksen and Jeff Fahey.

Thomas J Wright, whose Emmynominated television work includes CSI, directed the picture based on a screenplay by Grover.
