Jon Anderson, formerly vice president of marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Columbia TriStar Film Distributors International, has joined Columbia's former UK chief Carmen Menegazzi at publishing and new media venture In2Film.

Anderson joins as director of worldwide marketing, while Menegazzi has moved up from development director to international managing director.

Formerly known as Inside Film, In2Film publishes a film-specific programme that is distributed in cinemas and is developing an Internet operation to complement the magazine.

Anderson will be responsible for worldwide strategy and implementation of the company's marketing campaign. His appointment comes as In2Film is gearing up for a $30m launch in Europe and the US.

"Jon Anderson's proven track record in entertainment marketing will make a significant contribution to the company's worldwide marketing strategy," commented Richard Cohen, chief executive.

Commenting on Menegazzi's promotion, Cohen said: "With her invaluable understanding of the European market and long-established relationships with cinema chains in the US and European territories, Carmen's expertise will be pivotal."
