Arrow Entertainment has acquired worldwide rights, excluding Nordic territories, to Finnish documentary Pirates Of Somalia from Helsinki-based Hakalax Production Oy.

The film is currently shooting in northern Somalia and will explore the volatile situation in the region from the point of view of the pirates.

It is written and directed by Kim Finn and produced by John Hakalax. It aims to give the problem a human face by following a 15-year-old Somali boy as he meets participants, supporters, enemies and victims of piracy.
