London’s Institute Of Contemporary Arts (ICA) is to host a series of industry masterclasses, organised in cooperation with BAFTA.

The masterclasses will examine the collaborative nature of feature films and offer behind the scenes insight into each speaker’s craft.

The programme kicks off with a session by editor and regular Andrea Arnold collaborator Nicolas Chaudergne (Fish Tank, Red Road). There are also sessions on visual effects with Monsters director Gareth Edwards, film scoring with BAFTA winner Martin Phipps (Brighton Rock, Harry Brown) and cinematography with another Arnold collaborator, Robbie Ryan.

There are further talks on art direction, production design, hair and makeup design, title sequencing and writing for games.

The nine events take place across February and March.
