Organisers at the FlandersInternational Film Festival Ghent (FIFF) have announced the nominees for theJoseph Plateau Awards 2003. All titles are Belgian shorts and features and musthave been released in Belgian theatres between Jan 1 and Dec 31 2003.

The Joseph Plateau ceremonywas launched under the auspices of the FIFF to honour the year's bestBelgian films. It is separate from the festival's feature film competition'The Impact of Music on Film'.

The winners will beannounced on May 7.
