India's Big Pictures is planning to release Ghajini, starring Aamir Khan, in more than 300 cinemas across 23 countries on December 25.
The motion pictures subsidiary of Reliance BIG Entertainment is handling international distribution of the film, while Indian Film Company is distributing in India.
Major overseas territories for the film include UAE with 36 prints, US and Canada with 112 prints and the UK with 65 prints. The film will also open simultaneously in Norway, Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore.
A remake of the Tamil film of the same name, Ghajini is written and directed by A.R. Murugadoss and also stars Asin and Jiah Khan. The music is composed by AR Rahman.
