Los Angeles-based Bleiberg Entertainment has picked up Ayelet Menahemi's Israeli drama Noodle and is commencing sales at AFM.

Mili Avital, Anat Waxman and Baoqi Chen star in the tale of a flight attendant who looks after an abandoned Chinese boy whose immigrant mother has been deported. Waxman won best supporting actress in Israel's Film Academy Awards last September.

Bleiberg is also selling Danny Lerner's $4m action thriller Kirot, which will star Olga Kurylenko as an assassin and is set to shoot in February 2008 in Europe and Israel, and The Band's Visit.

Eran Kolirin's Cannes hit previously sold to the UK and Scandinavia (Sony), Japan (Nikkatsu), Benelux (Paradiso), South Korea (AK Entertainment), Spain (Manga), Eastern Europe and China (The Weinstein Company), and French-speaking Canada (Seville).
