Pauline Bohm has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing at NBC Universal International Television Distribution (NBC UITD).

Rachel Mansson has been promoted to vice president of the marketing for the division's international new media unit. She is based in London and reports to Los Angeles-based Bohm.

Bohm will continue to develop and implement marketing strategies for NBC UITD and will take charge of the division's international brand strategy and presence at all international sales markets and events.

Mansson's work at the international new media unit will encompass EST, VOD and SVOD available through traditional and new platforms including cable, satellite, digital terrestrial television, internet and mobile. She is also responsible for the overall brand management of PictureBox, NBC Universal's new SVOD service now available on multiple platforms in the UK, Poland and Singapore.

'Pauline has done an outstanding job in taking our marketing efforts well beyond expectations and plays an instrumental role in our overall business,' NBC UITD president Belinda Menendez said. 'Rachel has proven time and again her strategic sensibilities and the ability to effectively build brand recognition.'

Bohm served as vice president of marketing since 2004. Prior to that she was senior vice president of international marketing for Pearson Television International and executive director of NBC advertising and promotion from 1985 to 1996.

Mansson most recently held the title of marketing director, international new media, a post she has held since 2005. She joined the company in 2002 as marketing director, EMEA, for what was then known as Universal International Television Distribution. Prior to that she was international marketing manager with PolyGram.
