EXCLUSIVE: M-Appeal also close to deals on The Deflowering of Eva van End.
German-based sales company M-Appeal has sold Brazilian rights to Vinny Filmes for Michael Mayer’s Out In The Dark, a gay love story set against the Israeli-Palestinian cnoflict.
This brings the film’s sold territories to six, other recent deals confirmed are Breaking Glass for North America, SBC for Benelux, and Network Releasing for the UK.
M-Appeal’s dark family comedy The Deflowering of Eva van End was going down well with buyers, and several North American distributors are pursuing Michiel ten Horn’s title.
Also at TIFF, M-Appeal has Julio Hernandez Cordon’s Dust (Polvo), which is also heating up for North American buyers .
