Anchor Bay has taken all rights in the US, UK and Australia/New Zealand to The Drownsman, which Breakthrough Entertainment is selling at the AFM.
Chad Archibald directs the horror-thriller from Black Fawn Films about a hydrophobic woman who unwittingly draws her friends into a dangerous place after they stage an intervention.
Cody Calahan and Archibald co-wrote the screenplay. Michelle Mylett, Caroline Korycki, Gemma Bird Matheson, Sydney Kondruss, Clare Bastable and Ry Barrett star.
Christopher Giroux and Archibald produced The Drownsman and Peter Williamson, Ira Levy, Nat Abraham and Michael McGuigan are the executive producers with Breakthrough Entertainment.
