Fortissimo Films has appointed Catherine Le Clef as seniorvice president - TV and ancillary sales.

She will join Fortissimo from Paris starting Jan 1.

In addition to running Fortissimo's existing TV activities,Le Clef will be charged with expanding the company's TV business to includedocumentaries for TV and made-for-TV movies.

Le Clef had overseen international distribution atParis-based Doc & Co, a documentary distributor that worked with titelsincluding The Staircase, Hothouse and The Mother's House.

She previously worked for Canada's Film Transit International for 15years after starting her career at Belgium's Unibelfilm.

Fortissimo's library includes titles such as Wong Kar-Wai's Happy Together, Jeffrey Blitz's Spellbound, Hal Hartley's Flirt, Todd Haynes' Poison, and Jim Jarmusch's DownBy Law.
