Hong Kong-based Celestial Pictures is launching two new movie channels - Celestial Movies Asia (CMA) and Celestial Classic Movies (CCM) - which will be carried by PCCW's now TV IPTV service in Hong Kong.

CMA will screen blockbusters from across Asia such as Erika Sawajiri's Closed Note, Francis Ng's One Last Dance and Kwon Sang-woo's Running Wild. Meanwhile CCM features classics from the Shaw Brothers and other libraries. The two channels will launch on now TV on April 15.

'Movies and dramas form one of our central pillars of content, providing customers with countless new and classic local and Hollywood movies,' said Dominic Leung, PCCW's managing director of television & content. 'This serves to underscore our pledge to continuously upgrade our service, with the emphasis on customer choice.'

Now TV customers will be able to subscribe to CCM for $2.7 (HK$21) per month and CMA for $5.4 (HK$42) per month.
