Berlin-set love story is currently shooting

Celluloid Dreams has snapped up international sales rights to Bliss (original title Glück), a love story set in Berlin directed by Doris Dörrie.

In the leading roles are Italian actress Alba Rohrwacher (I Am Love, The Solitude Of Prime Numbers) and Vinzenz Kiefer (The Baader Meinhof Complex, Speed Racer).

Bliss is produced by Oliver Berben for Constantin Film Produktion and executive produced by Martin Moszkowicz. The film is supported by MBB Medien Board Berlin Brandenburg, the DFFF, FilmFernsehFonds Bavaria (FFF) and the Federal Film Board (FFA). Shooting began on April 4 in Berlin and Macedonia and is slated to wrap on May 18.

The screenplay was adapted by Dörrie from a story by the international bestselling German author Ferdinand von Schirach, who won the Heinrich von Kleist prize for his debut novel Crimes, which has sold more than 450,000 copies in Germany and has been translated into over 30 languages.
