French sales house Celluloid Dreams is to part-finance and sell the nextproject from UK film outfit Hammer And Tongs - also known as GarthJennings and Nick Goldsmith.

Jennings and Goldsmith, who last directed and produced The Hitchhikers Guide ToThe Galaxy, will move forward immediately with Son of Rambow (working title), to befilmed in the UK.

Jennings described Rambow as "acoming-of-age tale set in the 1980's when video cameras first started coming onthe market and people like me grabbed them from our dads and started makingsequels to films like Rambo. It'sabout two very peculiar children making a sequel to Rambo."

The deal was concluded atSundance by Celluloid's president Hengameh Panahi. "Among the high volume of scripts that wereceive this one just leapt up at us," she said. "Hammer and Tongs areexceptional artists that we hope to work with well into the future."

Apart from Hitchhikers, Hammer AndTongs are also known for their music videos and commercials.

Rambowjoins Celluloid's bulging English-language slate at Berlin - the company is also pre-selling Francois Ozon's English-language debut Angel, the Nelson Mandela project Goodbye Bafana, Mary Sweeney's Campfires Burning, Kenneth Branagh's The MagicFlute, Todd Haynes' I'm Not Thereand Harmony Korine's Mister Lonely.

The company also has threetitles in competition: The ElementaryParticles, It's Winter and Offside, alongsidePanorama opener Family Law.
