The sales partnership between Celluloid Dreams and XYZ Films will kick off international sales on the Croisette on the action film starring Zoë Bell and Rachel Nichols.

Andy Pagana and Kenny Gage’s Cosmic Toast Studios are partnering with Allene Quincy’s Quincy Pictures on the story of two abducted women who must fight others in a similar situation in order to stay alive as part of a cruel game.

Josh C Waller directs from a script by Robert Beaucage and is production is earmarked for June. Waller and Bell will produce with Pagana and Gage and Quincy serves as executive producer.

“Quincy Pictures is extremely excited to be joining forces with Cosmic Toast Studios and to support a script that brings strong, women characters to the forefront in an action/horror storyline,” Quincy said.

“I love Raze,” Nichols said. “It’s my chance to battle Zoë again. Not since Alias have I gone toe-to-toe with her and I have wanted a rematch for years.

“She is lovely and amazing – and could totally kill me in a fight. This project has the kind of fighting rarely seen on film, and certainly not between women. Raze is a balls-out, fight-to-the-death adventure.”

“My goal is to treat what could already be interpreted as exploitative material with as much respect and integrity as possible,” Waller said. “These women will be going though hell and back and that sets the stage for some powerful performances. Along the way, we’ll attempt to deliver some of the most brutal female fights we’ve ever seen.”

Bell is represented by Kieran Maguire at The Arlook Group and Nichols by UTA and Management 360. Waller is handled by Jairo Alvarado at 3 Arts Entertainment.
