Korea’s M-Line Distribution has sold remake rights to Marriage Blue to China’s Taihe Films, which is planning to make a TV series based on the film.

Directed by Hong Ji-young, the film follows four different couples in the run-up to their weddings. The film was produced by Soo Film (All About My Wife) and stars Ok Taec-yeon, Lee Yeon-hee and Ju Ji-hoon.

Taihe is also co-producing CJ Entertainment’s The Fist, to be directed by Park Kwang-hyun, which is currently in pre-production.

M-Line’s Scandal Makers, directed by Kang Hyoung-chul, is being remade in Russian by Timor Bekmambetov’s Bazelevs Production. Eduard Oganessian is directing while Danya Belykh heads the cast.
