The US premiere of Emanuele Crialese’s immigration drama on Nov 11 will kick off the 2011 Cinema Italian Style, which runs until Nov 15.

Stars Donatella Finocchiario, Filippo Pucillo and Giuseppe Fiorello will join Crialese for the red carpet event at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.

Cinema Italian Style will be dedicated this year to the legendary producer Dino De Laurentiis. This year’s programme and homage to De Laurentiis will take place on Nov 10 at the De Laurentiis family residence.

Cinecittà Luce and the American Cinematheque have worked side-by-side since 1995 to organise Cinema Italian Style.

The selection of films includes Nanni Moretti’s Habemus Papam, Gianni di Greogorio’s Gianni E Le Donne, and Paolo Genovese’s Immaturi.
