Steven B Cohen has been appointed as consultant to manage DigitalCinema Distribution Coalition, the alliance between Warner BrosEntertainment, Universal Pictures and Digital Cinema ImplementationPartners (DCIP).
DCIP was originally announced on March 6 2007 and was set up to develop the most cost-effective form of digital delivery.
Cohen has more than 20 years of experience in digital distribution,digital post-production and digital cinema. He is currently the head ofhis own technology consultancy Cohen Communications.
He previously served as vice president of feature services for theAscent Media Group, vice president of sales and development for SonyPictures and director of business development for Sony's AdvancedDigital Systems Group.
