Matt Czuchry, Jesse Bradford and Geoff Stults will star in Darko Entertainment's I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell based on Tucker Max's bestseller.

Czuchry will play Max, a real-life American hedonist and blogger who gets banned from his friend's wedding after he persuades the hapless man to accompany him on a riotous bachelor party celebration. Keri Lynn Pratt and Denise Quinones round out the key cast.

Production is set to begin in Shreveport, Louisiana, on July 21. Darko Entertainment is financing and producing the film.

Bob Gosse will direct from the screenplay Max and Nils Parker adapted from Max's book.

Darko's Richard Kelly, Sean McKittrick and Ted Hamm are producing with Max and Parker's Rudius Films, along with Max Wong and Karen Firestone of Pinkslip Pictures and Aaron Ray of The Collective.

The Collective's Shaun Redick and Ray Mansfield are serving as executive producers and hold North American rights.

Czuchry made his debut on The WB's Young Americans prior to his breakthrough role as Logan Huntzberger on The CW's Gilmore Girls.
