Ann-Margret will receive the Dallas International Film Festival’s Dallas Star Award at the upcoming event, set to run from Mar 31-Apr 10.
Festival organisers have selected Beautiful Boy, Soul Surfer and the world premiere of OK Buckaroos as the Centrepiece screenings.
Fourteen films will vie for the unrestricted $25,000 Target cash prize in both the Target Documentary Feature and Narrative Feature Competitions.
2011 marks Ann-Margret’s 50th year in entertainment. Previous Dallas Star Award honourees include Sydney Pollack, Lauren Bacall, Adrien Brody and Kathryn Bigelow.
