Mark Damon'sproduction and distribution company Foresight Unlimited has closedmulti-territory sales on its first feature Captivity starring Elisha Cuthbert.

Damon has concluded deals with TFI for France, FilmAuro for Italy,Al Munteanu and SquareOne for Germany, and New World Film for Spain.

Roland Joffe directed the project, which shot at the Moscow-basedMosfilm Studios and centres on a chauffeur and fashion model who are kidnappedand held captive by an unseen psychopath.

Rights previously went to Nordisk for Scandinavia, Westvideo forRussia, Lusomundo for Portugal,Spentzos for Greece, Vision for Eastern Europe excluding the former Yugoslavia,which was licensed to VTI, Nu Metro for South Africa, Flashstar for Brazil,Shaw for Singapore, and Myndform for Iceland. Joe Vincenti has secured MiddleEastern rights through Italia Films.

"Thefacilities at Mosfilm Studios are outstanding, with very well-trained localcrews," Damon, who produced with Minkovsi,Sergei Konov, and Gary Mehlman, said. "It is mybelief that Russia will become a new film gateway, and I am planning to workthere again with my Partners at RAMCO, Leonid Minkovski and Sergei Konov."

Foresight and Seven Arts International are handling worldwide salesfor Captivity.

Foresight's birth of Israel drama BeyondFriendship, directed byElie Chouraqui and based on Larry Collins' 1972 international bestseller OJerusalem, is currentlyin post-production. Foresight and Myriad Pictures are handling worldwide sales.
