The Screen Actors Guild hasannounced nominees for its 13th awards, with Leonardo DiCaprio nominated inboth the leading actor and supporting actor categories for Blood Diamond and TheDeparted, respectively.

Babel, Dreamgirls and Little Miss Sunshine eachearned nominations in three categories, with Notes On A Scandal, The Departed, Blood Diamondand Little Children each taking two mentions.

Most of the nominees wereexpected names being discussed during this awards season, such as Peter O'Toolefor Venus and Helen Mirren for The Queen.

Among the less expectedinclusions are indie favourites Ryan Gosling for lead actor in Half Nelson and young Abigail Breslinfor Little Miss Sunshine.

Brad Pitt was overlooked forhis role in Babel (although the ensemble cast was recognised) as was Venice best actor winner Ben Affleck for Hollywoodland. Two supporting actressesfrom Babel - Adriana Barraza and Rinko Kikuchi - will competeagainst one another.

Meanwhile Weinstein Company co-chief Harvey Weinstein was ecstatic at the ensemble nomination for Bobby. 'We are extremely proud of Bobby for the SAG nomination it received today,' he said in a statement. 'The SAG members were clearly moved by the power, idealism and rich characters depicted in Emilio Estevez's film and the amazing performances by the entire cast that brought the characters to life'
