Leonardo DiCaprio, Kevin Bacon and Kate Winslet will be honouredfor their artistic achievements at the 20th Annual Santa Barbara InternationalFilm Festival (SBIFF), which runs from Jan 28-Feb 6.

DiCaprio received a Golden Globe nomination yesterday (13) for hisrole as Howard Hughes in The Aviator and receives the Platinum Award, which was created tocelebrate the festival's 20th anniversary.

Bacon, who stars in the upcoming drama The Woodsman, will collect The American RivieraAward, established to honour an actor or actress whose body of work hasinfluenced American Cinema.

Winslet currently stars in Finding Neverland and picked up a Golden Globe nominationyesterday for her role in Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind. Her SBIFF honour recognises both roles.

"I'm thrilled to have such esteemed artists as Leonardo DiCaprio,Kevin Bacon and Kate Winslet as honorees of the 2005 SBIFF," the festival'sartistic director Roger Durling said in a statement.

"They are vibrant andextremely accomplished performers that are at the peak of their careers."
