Strand Releasing has acquired all US rights to Sarah Watt’s Australian film My Year Without Sex from The Works International at AFM.
Watt’s tale centres on a loving couple who abstain from sex due to the woman’s health and come to a new understanding of their love.
Strand Releasing plans a spring 2010 release and co-president Jon Gerrans brokered the deal with The Works International’s Joy Wong.
Sacha Horler and Matt Day star in Watt’s follow-up to Look Both Ways. Bridget Ikin produced.
