Don Bird has joined digitaltechnology company DTS as vice president of marketing, where he will overseemarketing and branding activities for all areas of the company's entertainment,technological and corporate business.

Bird brings with him morethan 20 years of experience in the development and marketing of technicalproducts for the entertainment industry.

Prior to DTS, he served insimilar posts in the electronic music, broadcast, theatrical and film postproduction arenas. Most recently he was vice president of sales and marketingfor Avica Technology Corp.

"As DTS moves forward,it is crucial that our marketing and branding efforts are cohesive across allmarkets," DTS president and chief executive officer Jon Kirchner said in astatement.

"Don's experienceacross the various industries in which DTS is involved is ideal for shaping ourmessage for the future."
