Ehud Bleiberg and Yitzhak Ginsberg's LosAngeles-based production and sales house Dream Entertainment has picked upinternational rights to Scott Coffey's comedy Ellie Parker and will begin sales at Cannes.

Ellie Parkerpremiered in dramatic competition at Sundance and stars Naomi Watts as anaspiring actress who goes to great lengths to realise her dream of Hollywoodstardom.

Chevy Chase, Mark Pellegrino, Rebecca Riggs, and Coffeyalso star; Coffey and Watts produced with Matt Chesse and Blair Mastbaum.

Dream'ssenior vice president of acquisitions and development Karen Roberts brought thefilm to the company and negotiated the deal with Linda Lichter of Lichter,Grossman, Nichols & Adler on behalf of the producers.

"Naomi deliversa truly memorable performance, which is complimented by a great supporting castof characters," Dream chairman and chief executive officer Bleiberg saidin a statement.

"Peopleinside the Hollywood film industry obviously relate to the story, however thefilm's appeal extends well beyond just those familiar with the crazy lifeof an aspiring actor in Hollywood."

Watts isrepresented by CAA, Untitled Entertainment and attorney Steve Warren.

Other Dreamtitles set for the Cannes market include the supernatural comic-book thriller ElMuerto starring WilmerValderrama, the war thriller Straight Into Darkness, and Mark Wexler's documentary TellThem Who You Are.
