With 18 markets still to open the drama has already run up a$57.8m international cumulative total and is scheduled to roll out in Spain onFeb 7, Korea on Feb 21, France on Feb 26, Italy and Brazil on Mar 14 and Japanon May 17. 8 Mile hasgrossed $17.3m after three weeks in the UK, $7.5m after the same period of timein Australia and $15.4m after five weeks in Germany.

In its secondweek in Japan The Bourne Identity held on to top spot, dropping 12% with $1.9m from 287 theatresfor a $6.4m nine-day total. So far the picture has grossed $83.8m at theinternational box office. Japanese audiences will be in for another thrill whenthe distributor opens Red Dragon on Feb 8.
