Spain's Wanda Vision has sold all French rights on Berlin Panorama entry Every Stewardess Goes To Heaven (Todas Las Azafatas Van Al Cielo) to Pretty Pictures.

Wanda's Jose Maria Morales and Miguel Morales said the deal was closed in Cannes. The film from up-and-coming Argentine director Daniel Burman (Waiting For The Messiah) stars Alfredo Casero, Ingrid Rubio, Emilio Dissi and Norma Aleandro in a love story between a grieving widower and a lonely flight attendant.

The co-production between Wanda, Patagonik and BD Cine previously sold to Austria and Switzerland (Trigon), Italy (Amedeo Pagani) and Asia (NDF). Talks are understood to be underway for sales to Germany and the US.

The film was already to be handled in Latin America by Buena Vista, part-owner of Patagonik, and in Japan by NHK, backers of the Sundance Institute's best script award which Stewardess won last year. Wanda retains rights in Spain and Portugal.
